How to unlock locked segments
Usually, the locked segments or parts of segments are out of scope during translation. However, occasionally, they need to be unlocked for fixing errors.Â
To unlock the segment in Trados Studio:
Highlight the segment (or part of the segment) that you want to unlock
Press Advanced tab in the top menu
Go to Lock Segments and select the option you wish to use: Unlock Segment (for the whole segment) or Unlock Selection (for a part of the segment)
