Tableau Exchange strings

What are Tableau Exchange strings?

In localize_js files, you will find a very specific type of strings that will be published on 🔗Tableau Exchange, formerly known as Extensions Gallery. It is a website where Tableau and its partners publish various extensions, accelerators and connectors that can help users with the data analysis.

All the strings that will be published here have a Key/String ID starting gallery-api. You can find the Key/String ID in Phrase at the bottom of the page under Context note.

To find the appropriate string on the website, you can open any of the Tableau Exchange products from its home page.

You will see that the URL contains a number. All you need to do is change this number to the number from the Key/String ID.
